Danielle Alstat
President & Director of Patient RelationsDanielle Alstat is a respiratory therapist with over a decade of experience in pulmonary care and critical care medicine. Diagnosed with Primary Biliary Cholangitis in 2019, she is dedicated to patient advocacy and global awareness, using her perspective as both a healthcare provider and chronic illness patient to amplify the voices of the PBC community.
Ons Yasmeen Mrad Bouali
Director of Strategic InitiativesOns is a Special Researcher at the National Cancer Institute and a Medical Assistant in OB/GYN. She is an aspiring physician dedicated to improving care for patients with complex diseases. Inspired by her mother’s journey with Primary Biliary Cholangitis, she is passionate about advancing PBC research, patient education, and advocacy to improve outcomes for those living with the disease.
Jackeline Candelario
Secretary & Director of Board AffairsJackeline Candelario is a freelance interpreter, tax preparer, and notary public with a background as a paralegal in the legal field for over 20 years. Diagnosed with Primary Biliary Cholangitis in 2021, she is passionate about ensuring patients have access to the resources and support she once struggled to find, using her voice to raise awareness and advocate for the PBC community.
